How it works

Obsid Pro is a Windows audio routing application that lets you run headphones and speakers at the same time. Windows has always routed audio to a single output device by default. When headphones are connected, speakers stop. When speakers are active, headphones go silent. This is not a hardware limitation. It is a software constraint, and Obsid Pro removes it entirely.
Speakers produce low frequency sound that moves air and creates physical presence in your room. Headphones deliver precision and detail directly to your ears. When both are running simultaneously, each doing what it was designed for, the combined result is something neither device can produce on its own.

Obsid Pro includes a ten band parametric equalizer that gives you precise control over every part of the frequency spectrum. Whether you want the warm bass presence of a cinema sound mix, the flat response of a studio monitor, or something entirely tailored to your own setup, the built in presets and manual controls let you get there without any technical knowledge required.
For people who already have a preferred EQ profile from another application, Obsid Pro can import it directly from a screenshot. Take an image of any EQ graph from any software and Obsid Pro will read the curve and recreate it inside the app immediately.

Room calibration in Obsid Pro analyses the acoustic characteristics of your physical space and adjusts audio output accordingly. Hard floors, soft furnishings, room dimensions and speaker placement all affect how sound reaches your ears. Obsid Pro accounts for all of it, so the audio you hear is optimised for your exact listening position rather than a generic default setting.
The spatial audio engine works alongside room calibration to create a three dimensional sound field. For Pro Plus subscribers, custom HRIR file uploads allow personalised spatial processing matched to your own head and ear geometry, producing a level of accuracy that standard spatial audio solutions cannot achieve.
